Cosmic Strings is a Jam-Folk duo, featuring Miss Emma Bee and Spencer Houghton, plays a variety of musical styles and genres. Their songs are a combination of covers, collaborations, and original tunes.
Spencer Houghton is a guitarist and singer/songwriter. Spencer hosted f a popular monthly event in Madison Wisconsin called Hippy Hideout for it’s first as well as Portal Music Fest in Hillsboro, WI for it’s first years and Toodeloo Shakedown Fest for its first 2 years. He has preformed at many of the Wisconsin Festivals including Grateful Garcia Gathering, Grateful Friends Fest, Dance With the Dead, Jammon Fest, Toodeloo Shakedown Fest and Portal Music Fest
Miss Emma Bee is a singer/songwriter out of Madison, WI.. Miss Bee also has been a songwriter at both Love On Holiday: Songs of Love and Love Gone Away, and Steel Bridge SongFest. These songwriting events bring together musicians from around the nation, and with the spin of a bottle, encourage collaborative song writing.
